south dakota running through my veins

two sided coins living, stretched out and spinning through a bit of my life, and sure to return another day. last night would be a time when the blood pressure rose and fell like thermometers in the desert at dusk, because i was elated and utterly deflated.

the act of trying is sometimes overshadowed by the result, but i should (i think i do) see that i came out of my shell, if only for 5 minutes. even more, i had plans that were enacted, skirmishes and strategems filled with flanking and outright warfare. that's where i remember the song singing in the car.... unthinkable surprises about to happen, but what they are, it's not up to you..
