Merry Christmas, for real this time

i wrote this today, mostly because i thought it could make people smile, even if it's just for a sec:

...if it makes you feel better, you should think of this: a giant balloon filled with assorted marine life (all the fish are wearing tuxedos and fancy gowns) is shot into outer space. because of the reflective nature of the rubber balloon, the fish do not age, and the red orb floats through the vastness of space for untold eons.

the residents of the child delight witness the most amazing light shows put on by exploding suns, and they hear the great speeches of humanity caught in the crystalline roadways that line the blackness.

wouldn't you just smile to think of all the great dance moves a fish could create with an unlimited amount of time???
