this chilli is settling like a sick pilgrim, seeking out all the villages who were calm, but now erupt with sickness. i laugh into the stereo speaker, then i suck on a spoon just to feel the cold metal melt. one page of math, full of formulea is crystallizing in the atmosphere of tests and quizes.

did you see tonight? that sunset?i know the ocean did, because water was crowding into the clear blue sky, making it green and opaque. i know the earth saw it, because tectonic plates shifted, mountains formed frames, trees blushed so deeply, their blood shown blue, then black. i know the air could feel the heat of fusion, fires erupted on the clouds like disco collars, oh the humanity of driving in this light of day! oh, just to stand on the road, find the cake which alice tasted, sit on a hillside, with the tall grass trying to compose itself after you trounced over it with silient shoes.

sometimes the weather shows in social topography, and sometimes the storms brew off the coast before they claim victims. radar, first a blip, green line at 45 rpm, playing abbey road in somber tones of winter. the best thing is when you feel the air get sucked dry, deprived of moisture; deprived child fuming in her room. beep, slip oh dear god, when the entirety of life is in my veins, its alwyas there, a warm glow like the sunset is lining my skin.
